How far do you deliver?
Bellingham and Surrounding areas – 98225 98226 98229 98248
What types of flowers can I order from you?
All of our floral arrangements are created using seasonal blooms, selected based on freshness and availability at the time of your order. Because of this, we’re unable to accommodate requests for specific flower types. However, you’re welcome to share your preferred color palette, any known allergies, or flowers you’d like us to avoid (such as pet-safe options or no lilies), and we’ll do our best to honor those preferences while creating something beautiful and unique for you.
Do flower arrangements look just like the pictures?
Not necessarily. Each arrangement is one-of-a-kind and made with the freshest seasonal blooms available, so the exact flowers may vary. However, we always stay true to the overall style, shape, and feel of the image you see — capturing its spirit while allowing for natural variation and creative interpretation.

How long do your flowers last?
Our bouquets are carefully crafted to stay beautiful for approximately a week, though their exact lifespan can vary depending on the types of blooms included and how they’re cared for. We finely process each stem —cleaning, trimming, and hydrating them— before they ever reach your vase to help extend their freshness.
Once you receive your arrangement, changing the water daily or every other day, keeping the bouquet out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, and giving stems a fresh trim every couple of days can all help prolong their life. Some delicate seasonal flowers naturally have shorter lifespans, while others may last even longer with proper care.
We aim for every bouquet to bring lasting joy and beauty, right from delivery through the days that follow.

How do you arrange design work for weddings and corporate events?
Our Event & Wedding Floral Process
1. Initial Inquiry
The process begins when you reach out with your event details — date, location, floral needs, color palette, and any inspiration you’d like to share.
2. Correspondence
We’ll connect with you via email or phone to gather more information and get a sense of your vision, style, and budget.
3. Custom Proposal
Based on your input, we’ll create a personalized floral proposal and quote, tailored to your event’s needs and seasonal availability.
4. Follow-Up Consultation (Optional)
You may schedule a follow-up consultation (in person or virtual) to review the proposal, ask questions, and make refinements before confirming.
5. Booking & Deposit
To reserve your event date, we require a non-refundable deposit of 1/3 of the agreed total. This secures your booking and begins the design planning process.
6. Final Payment & Flower Ordering
The remaining balance is due three weeks before the event, at which time we finalize all details and begin ordering your flowers.
What is the full range of flowers you offer?
Our Floral & Foliage Style
We thoughtfully design each arrangement using primarily seasonal and locally sourced flowers and foliage, with a strong emphasis on what’s growing fresh in our region. Pacific Northwest evergreens and native greenery are a signature element in nearly every piece we create — bringing texture, movement, and a grounding sense of place.
In addition to local blooms, we occasionally incorporate tropical flowers sourced from Hawaii, blending their vibrant forms with the softness of seasonal stems. This creates a unique balance of lushness and refinement, giving each design a natural, layered look that feels both intentional and organic.
Our floral selections are always guided by what’s available and beautiful at the time of your order, ensuring the freshest quality and most harmonious palette.
How do your custom orders work, and what options do I have for creative input?
Custom Floral Orders
We love creating floral pieces that feel personal and artfully made — just for you. Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply want flowers that reflect a mood, season, or space, custom orders offer the chance to co-create something truly unique.
Here’s how it works:
- You Share the Vision
Start by letting us know the occasion, setting, or feeling you want your flowers to express. You can share a color palette, a few reference images, or even a simple mood — romantic, wild, minimal, joyful. - We Listen & Interpret
From there, we thoughtfully interpret your input using seasonal blooms, with our signature touch of Pacific Northwest foliage and a sculptural, nature-forward style. (Think evergreens, textural branches, and the occasional tropical bloom woven in for contrast.) - Details & Boundaries
We welcome notes about flowers to avoid (like lilies or pet-sensitive varieties) and always appreciate knowing if allergies or sensitivities are a concern. You guide the intention — we’ll handle the mechanics. - No Two Are Alike
Because we design based on what’s freshest and most inspiring each week, no two arrangements are ever identical. But you can trust that each one is made with an artist’s eye and a florist’s care.
Where do you get the flowers from suppliers?
We source flowers from local farms in Skagit and Snohomish County and local wholesalers in Seattle and from small farms in Hawaii.
How long does it take to receive orders? Is there a fee for rush orders?
Same day delivery is available as the online calendar permits. We work to keep this online portal as current as possible so if there isn’t an option online for your date, it’s most likely not possible. That said, please feel free to reach out to double check. All daily designs are scheduled to be completed and delivered by 11:30 every day. If you require a timed delivery, this will increase your delivery fee by $5.
What sets Flower Lab apart as floral designers?
With 15+ years experience in the floral industry, I’ve continued the lifelong process of learning, innovating and sharing flowers in a way that celebrates both the recipient and the artistry of flower design. The human element of floral design has never been lost on me, rather I love to know about my customers as humans with important stories, and reflect that in the designs. The breadth of work that has come out of Flower Lab reflects nearly every style and vibe under the sun, even as we’ve come into our own special nature-meets-architecture aesthetic.
What is the best way to reach you, and how long will it take to receive a response?
The best way to get in touch is by sending a message through the contact page or reaching out during business hours (TBD). I do my best to respond within 1–2 business days, but depending on the nature of your request, please allow up to 4 business days for a reply.
While I encourage you to trust the process and order directly online, I truly value connecting with my customers — and I’m always happy to build trust through conversation when needed.
How do I reach out to arrange a wedding or event with you?
Please reach out via the contact page for your event or wedding! We review each request and am able to quickly determine our availability and then prepare preliminary quotes that are tailored to your immediate needs.
Which of your wedding/event packages is best for my needs?
Our A la Carte and Party packages are a great option for smaller, intimate gatherings. I highly recommend using this resource as it is a money saver and tends to decrease the amount of back-and-forth efforts between us. You will receive personalized care via email and phone as needed, but I will be able to utilize my resources to create the look.
For events and weddings on a grander level or with more specific style and color requests, please use the contact page to start the process. This would be best if you have many tables and need to match a style or look that isn’t necessarily what you see on our website.
For both options, providing a photo inspiration is a great way to get us quickly on the same page.
Can I use my own vases?
You are welcome to use your own vases for events. The use of your personal vases will not greatly change the cost per bouquet.
What is your cancellation policy? Are there deadlines or fees?
I do not have cancellation fees for daily designs. Deposits are made for wedding and event work, and these are forfeit upon cancellation within 2 months of the wedding date.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes, delivery confirmations will be sent out throughout the day. Confirmation emails will be received following successful purchases. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please call in to check the status of the order.
What should I do to take care of my flowers when they arrive?
When your flowers arrive, please give them fresh water (a cut isn’t necessary) and visually check that all stems are touching water (they should be!). Please keep your bouquets out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. Over the week (or two depending on the flowers) please feel confident to carefully remove stems that start to droop, and always replace water daily. Over time your bouquet will shrink but you will preserve the longevity of all the flowers this way!
How can I preserve wedding flowers (e.g. for a frame)?
This is not a service I offer, but I do refer people directly to Wander and Press, an artisan I’ve worked with in the past. Negheen is wonderful, and knows which flowers to choose for creating pressed floral frames. I would success scheduling this in advance of your flower purchase so she can direct you as to what to do with your blooms to help the process.
When, where, how should I pick up the delivery?
Each delivery will be made to the front door, or door adjacent if the recipient isn’t home. Please carefully remove the vase from the carrier box and follow direction on care listed above.
What happens if the recipient isn't there to accept the order?
If recipients aren’t home, our policy is to leave the bouquets at the front door. In the case of apartments and condos, we require a phone number for recipients to coordinate appropriate delivery windows or needs. If we are unable to get into the building or make contact, we will return the bouquet to our cooler and try the following day. If you have information on best delivery actions, please include them in the deliver instructions field on the order form – this includes gate code!
How do you do consultations?
Consultations are available and are generally a good idea after proposals or quotes are received and you feel confident to move forward. They run 30-60 minutes on average and are a great tool to flush out design and cement confidence in our personal pairing for your event. I like to have a general sense of style, palette and number counts of items needed prior to consults so we can spend the time going item by item and finessing the event logistics and specifics.
How are your flowers packaged?
Flowers will be in a vessel and in a box with packing material as needed. I do not wrap in plastic, but a loose wrap will have a brown paper wrap and small plastic sheet to prevent leaking. We do our best to use recyclable materials for all our floral deliveries. Additionally, if you are interested in recycling your newspapers with us, we will use the newsprint as packing material and greatly appreciate this donation which we can schedule to pickup from you or arrange to drop off at the studio space.
Do you deliver directly to venues, hospitals, funeral homes, nursing homes, retirement homes, and/or gated communities?
Yes, all. Hospitals require exact names first and last (no nicknames) for delivery, and ICU and some other wards do not allow flowers or glass vases. Funeral deliveries require approval for timed deliveries, so please call to confirm this availability prior to placing the order.
Do you deliver all days of the week?
Deliveries will be Monday – Saturday or as the calendar permits.
